METHODS OF PAYMENT: 

LE SAUVIGNON consists of:- (Two En-Suite Bedrooms. - One with a double bed and the other with two single beds plus double sofa bed available in double lounge area for extra guests. Separate kitchen/diner, separate double lounge area and electric wall heaters in each room).

LE CHENIN consists of:- (One En-Suite Bedroom with a double bed and double sofa bed available for extra guest in combined open plan lounge/kitchen/diner area. New recently installed wood burning stove and price includes complimentary logs on arrival October - April).

(Our prices above are fully inclusive of *'Taxe de Séjour', electricity, gas, water, heating, household linens, pillows, blankets, hand/bath/kitchen towels, bathmats, (pool towels excluded but these can be hired) all changed weekly. Satellite TV/DVD, library of DVD's and books, use of swimming pool, bicycles, table-tennis, boules, mini-gym and BBQ terrace. A reserve of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, is provided in each apartment, which is also equipped with toilet paper, washing up liquid, and cleaning materials.  It excludes end of stay cleaning on departure, but this is available on request if desired, for a supplement.  For extra persons using the sofa beds there is a weekly charge of €25,00 per person, per week, for household linens, pillows, quilts, blankets, hand/bath towels, bathmats, extra usage of utilities).

CHAMBRES D'HOTES TARIFF
Our Chambre d'Hote price is  from €55,00 per double-room, per night inclusive of Taxe de Sejour.  All rooms have en-suite facilities with either private bath or shower, plus personal use of a comfortable suite in lounge area with Satellite TV/DVD player and range of films.  There is also a kitchen at your disposal with refridgerator, microwave oven and tea/coffee making  facilities, you can use these facilities to do your own breakfast and like, the french, make the short walk to the boulongerie to buy your fresh croissant, baguettes etc.  Alternatively, "Le petit dejeuner"consisting of fresh orange juice, panier of freshly baked croissants/pain au chocolate (from our local Artisan Boulangerie in the village), home made confitures, cafe au lait, selection of tea or hot chocolate, is available and can be served in your bedroom or, in the summer months, in the garden or on the sun terrace at €5 per person. You have use of our heated outdoor swimming pool May-September and towel hire is available. There is table tennis and  boules also cycles are available to  hire. We have a laundry room with ironing board/iron (small service charge). Free 'Wi-fi @ccess'. Fax and photocopy and wifi facilities available.

A 25% non refundable deposit is required to confirm your reservation, the balance payable eight weeks before arrival.

Meals can be arranged for the evening of your arrival, either in your apartment, our dining room, or outside on the sun terrace.   We simply request that you please notify us in advance and we will send you our menus. For example, you can choose from:-

Informative and entertaining our "Vineyard Discovery" lasts two to three hours and is tailored to suit your personal requirements providing an informative insight into the world of wine and concluding in the comfort of "La Salle de Degustation" you will embark upon the Initiation à la Degustation sampling highly referenced wines from an impressive Domaine! It offers serious and budding wine enthusiasts alike the perfect opportunity to acquaint themselves with wines from the Val de Loire and experience at first hand a working Domaine. Venturing into les caves, a network of impressive tunnels will unfold their secrets and you will discover methods of wine production from bygone years. See what goes on behind the scenes!

What to Expect

A Soirée of wine exploration, debate, discussion and déguster throughout a four course dinner accompanied by a minimim of five carefully selected AOC Saumur wines. Coffee will then conclude dinner. Bon appétit!  Relax and enjoy  your own private wine tasting at your leisure over dinner and enjoy being guided on how to taste and understand wine getting those 'tasting' and 'nosing' senses working!  Your unique evening will be one of much discovery and debate as you sample wines from the AOC Saumur Appellation. The 'Tutored Personal Tasting' starts with an aperitif in the garden and you will be introduced to the fresh sparkling Brut Saumur wine, a perfect start to any evening! After which a four course dinner of local artisans fare awaits at the 'gourmet table'! The evening is of humorous delivery, debate and exploration as you enjoy a minimum of five carefully selected wines for the evenings repas, the combination of food and wine enhancing the taste of the other. As the evening draws to a close you will find yourself with a newly found confidence and appreciation for wine.  Per person  €65,00 Euros.

If you prefer to fly, then cheap flights are available, for instance, when booking well in advance of your travel date, with the budget airline RYANAIR, there are flight routes into Poitiers Airport (1 hours drive) the closest; or Tours Airport (1.30 hours drive) a little longer but you can take the enjoyable scenic route along the Loire to Saumur; or Nantes-Atlantique Airport (1.30 hours drive) is now very popular for people since the onset of new routes. Recent addition is Angers Airport (40 minutes drive).

Alternatively, you can hop on the popular and comfortable high speed "EUROSTAR" from London's new spectacular St Pancras International.  It's easy to reach Angers; simply change at Paris Gare du Nord or Paris Montparnasse (alternatively you can travel via Lille) and continue to Angers Saint Laud Station with the TGV - then with major car hire companies available inside the train station, it's only a 40 minute drive into Le Puy Notre Dame.
